Wells Township has three park areas:
One is located at the Township Hall in Wells,
Second is located in Soo Hill
Third is the Wells Sports Complex area with
the Hannahville Ice and Turf Building Complex.
Wells Park features a 14 acre complex which
also hosts the Township hall: a baseball field,
Tot lot, Tennis Court, 2 sand volleyball courts.
The park also features a large open are to run
and play in.
Soo Hill Park Features a 10 acre park and
recreation area: a baseball field, Tot lot, two
Tennis courts, two Sand Volleyball courts,
Horseshoe pits and plenty area to run and
play.
The Wells Sports Complex features a 17 acre
area. The park has two baseball fields. One
field is to Little League standards and the
other to Sr. Little League Standards.
The baseball complex is Home to the Bears.
The ball fields will be home for the inaugural
season of the Bay College Norse Baseball and
Softball teams.
The Park also has a pavillion located behind
the ball fields.
The Second part of the complex Features
the Hannahville Ice and Turf Complex.
The Ice portion of the complex is home to
many groups; The Escanaba Eskymo's Hockey
Team, Escanaba Hawks Hockey, Figure
Skating Club, and a Curling Club.
The Turf Complex and walking track
are managed by the YMCA Northern lights.
